Portal to a Higher Consciousness

The Lion’s Gate Portal that opens every year piques on August 8th. This phenomenon occurs when the sun is in Leo, Sirius, (the brightest star in the sky in the constellation of Canis Major) is closest to the Earth, and Orion’s belt aligns with Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. During this time our spirits are downloading a great amount of ethereal knowledge. The veil begins to lift as our vision clears. The truths of the universe and our world begin to come into focus, and we are given the opportunity to step into the light. When we do so our inner light begins to magnify, permeating the physical realm around us. We begin to glow in our luminous bodies with the lion’s courage to be the change we want to see. Once we are able to step into our true form we can project our light to others and alter reality for the better.

This particular Lion’s Gate opens between two new moons placed in Leo (one in July and the second in August). Add on the holiday of Lughnasadh and the fact that Leo is a fire sign ruled by the sun, and you have a monopoly of intensely, passionate heat leaving the cosmos ablaze. There is so much masculine energy bringing warmth, empowerment, and action to our lives. The last new moon asked us to bring a gentle and moral love into our leadership methods. Lughnasadh encouraged us to stay motivated and allow our light to billow within and extend beyond ourselves. Now we are amplifying both of these messages by pairing it with knowledge and insight to the truth around us.

The date of this year’s Lion’s Gate opening is on August 8, 2017. If we break it down based on Numerology, we get 8/8/2017; 8+8+2+0+1+7=26; 2+6=8 – hence how we get to the triple 8 occurrence. The number eight is ruled by Saturn, (the planet of boundaries and limitations) and Karma, (lessons and accomplishments presented in our current life based on actions taken in both our current and past lives).

Saturn helps us set boundaries with others, learn about our own limitations, break through destructive limitations put onto us by others and ourselves, and push through boundaries keeping us from our highest potential. Old Karma is more prominent in our current lives at this time, and we are asked to finally learn from our lessons so we can utilize the advantages bestowed upon us.

Eight symbolizes strength, success, organization, ambition, courage, confidence, prosperity, abundance, and professionalism. It is time to be grateful for the physical splendors we are blessed with, while remaining in tune to our divine wisdom. As spiritual beings having a human experience we are encouraged to enjoy success and abundance in the physical realm as long as we do not abuse our power. It is important to remember our life’s purpose by staying true to our soul’s morals by remaining in the light and overflowing with love.

Twin Flames are two souls that used to be a part of the same soul at one point. The original soul chose to split in two in order to find its other half and increase the vibrations of love on Earth. Many twin flames have shared past lives together as the ultimate karmic relationship.

Twin flames are mirrors for one another reflecting back everything they love in themselves and others as well as the irritating and obnoxious qualities they would prefer to change. Even though they are a part of each other, they are not identical souls. They often have many beliefs, morals, hobbies, and interests in common. However, one is usually a thinker while the other is a doer. One also embodies the divine masculine, and the other the divine feminine. (Even though we all have both masculine and feminine qualities, our souls are either one or the other and we as humans are trying to find the balance between the two). We have different thought processes, perspectives, tendencies and experiences as any other pair of humans would.

The union of twin flames challenges us to change for the better to reach our highest potential. We are being asked to grow, change, develop, and continue this process until we are able to live harmoniously by creating and expanding intense energies of unconditional love.

This year’s Lion’s Gate Portal paired with where humanity as a whole is in the Ascension process is bringing greater amounts of twin flames together. The human race has been living in darkness for far too long overwhelmed by fear and disillusioned by “reality.” We are in desperate need for more love, compassion, and empathy as the truths of society come into focus.

We have been hiding and running for far too long as we turn our heads away from the horrific monstrosities that occur daily. Isolation has become commonplace (it can be healthy and necessary at times) to the point of solitary confinement in a “free” world. When we dissociate ourselves from each other, we are hindering our basic instincts to be nurturing, sociable, and interconnected.

2017 is a year of 1 where we are learning how to become more independent, empowered, and confident. We are about to enter a year of 2 as we begin to pair up in a very big way. This soul reunion for twin flames is just the beginning as we move into a more loving world filled with uplifting and encouraging relationships.
