She gazed out as the trees wrestled with glee. Their voices were the most prevelant of the wind chatter. The breeze cooled down her face.
“It’s time to go.” She said to herself as she looked back inside.
The warmth of the day felt so good as she enveloped herself in the sun’s rays. Parched, she reached for the glass as beads of water rolled down the side. The single cube clinked as she began chugging down the sweet nectar of life.
It was uncanny how quiet the world seemed despite the restless waves of air pouring over her. She couldn’t hear the routine songs for the day, nor the mindless chatter of endless languages that passed her stoop.
“Mr. Magpie must be taking a break from his tiresome post.” Her inner dialogue continued. “Perhaps he has a family to tend to.”
Then, she felt his presence. The spirit of a hardworking, focused, and magical ethereal being. Beating his wings lightning fast procuring a reverberating hum that jolted through her chest.
So sweet and soft the tired, little bee buzzed along looking for respite from his exhausting day. She willed him to use her humble space as a haven while he regenerated his life force for the trip home.
“Thank you for your giving nature.” He whispered with a grateful sigh.
Water pooled in the shallow dish of the lavender sitting between them as he lapped up the cool oceans of refreshing life. With one final glance he returned to the skies.

I was originally planning on writing about Honey Bees as a Totem or spirit animal, however, the article below does such an immaculate job; I wouldn’t do it the same justice. Enjoy this glorious website!
“I am not a slave to time. Time is here to serve me and my higher purpose.” – Eternal Waking Beauties ⏰⏳⠀

Hello Waking Beauties! This is a positive affirmation that I came up with to help reduce stress and enhance the quality of my life. I wanted to share it with everyone because it has helped me so greatly in slowing down, taking the time I need for myself to get everything done, and to allow myself to take back my power. We live in a society of go go go making it easy to miss all of the beautiful splendors the world has to offer. When we are in a rush or trying to get too much done at once it causes stress and anxiety which takes a toll on our physical form and spiritual bodies. When you find yourself in one of these situations (late for work, have a lot to do and feel you have little time, cramming last minute for a test, etc.) pause. Take a deep breath and focus on how the flow of air feels going through your nose, filling your lungs, and exiting your body. Then say this affirmation. Then say it again. Then repeat it until you feel a warm wave of gentle calmness washing over you. Once you have done that, smile. Either get started on ONE task at a time beginning with your TOP PRIORITY and work your way down, or realize that the traffic you’re stuck in is not that serious and everyone else is dealing with the same situation. It will help transform your moment which will ultimately transform your day, then your week, and soon your life! Please test this out and let me know if it worked for you or didn’t work for you and how it helped your personal situation! You all have this power and not one of us is a slave to time! It is here to serve us in our divine purpose to fulfill our soul’s destiny in this life. It is time we realize it and utilize it to our advantage! ⠀⠀⠀⠀
The rays of sun burnt my skin leaving a pinkish hue that blazed inside me. A bead of sweat rolled down my forehead to my brow. The stiffening heat was finally thwarted when a strong brisk of wind broke through the thick air. The hairs on the back of my neck prickled with the refreshing burst of air flow. Jen, my closest friend, was short in stature but thick. Thick in body structure and thick skinned. Her harshness matched her dark luscious hair. Her skin glistened in the sun. The sand was cooler as I dug my feet deeper into the small grains of earth. It was time to run into the salty water that lied before us. “Almost time for class…” she sighed with a heavy heart that made me feel the weight of her words. I did a quick dip and returned to my scattered clothes that were baking in the sun’s heat. Their warmth felt good against my cooled off skin. We parted ways once we returned to the dorms and it was off to class.
The absent minded droning rang through my ears as the professor went on some wild tangent about his overly inflated ego. He enjoyed making up multiple syllabic words in order to reclaim his superiority over a fresh crop of first years. Luckily it was an amphitheater of 800 students; so sleeping, popping in some ear buds, or doodling went unnoticed. Then there she was. Her caramel skin was unparalleled. It looked as if she was fabricated from silk. Her honey colored eyes shone vibrant under the fluorescent lights. She had an A-line bob that was longer on one side lightly grazing her voluptuous bust. She had to be a 34 D and had a perfectly symmetrical hour glass figure. Even though she had curves she had a petite frame adding a delicacy to her. Being able to voyeur at her beautiful perfection was the main reason I attended the class. All of the lecture slides were available on line so there was no real reason to waste an hour of my time listening to some pompous know-it-all tirade about his magnificence. One day I would muster up enough courage to approach her.
This book has taught me to appreciate the simplicity of life and gratitude for everything around me and inside of me. We are so busy pushing, trying, and struggling daily to “make things happen.” Once we are able to let go and allow the ebb and flow of the natural energies and divine timing to work in our favor, we are able to be serene, happy, and receiving. It is amazing how much the little things really do add up in positive and negative ways based on how we perceive it. We let work, other people, finances, and so much more get in the way of what’s truly important in life. Yes, we must be responsible and take care of what needs to be taken care of, however, this is not the extent of our purpose on this earth. Life is to be enjoyed with loved ones and love is to be extended to all including ourselves! We deserve the best that life has to offer because we work hard, have moral standards, and allow everything out of our control to just be. I have been able to reduce my stress and anxiety with the help of these teachings and I advise everyone to give this book a read!⠀⠀
