Today we are all being asked to release everything we are attached to in the physical realm. This is one of the most difficult tasks we face as we open our crown chakras and connect to our higher consciousness, the universe, and spirit or “the source”. There are many techniques we can use to sever these chords with unconditional love to reach our full potential. I will be going over three that have helped me along my journey.
Meditate – focus on your breath for about three deep inhales. Feel the air pass through your nasal passage and down your throat. Notice your belly rise and then your chest. Allow your exhale to be slow and soft as both your chest and belly decompress together as the air leaves your nose. Picture yourself floating in a bubble of light permeating the universe. From your body there are infinite strings. Picture people, places, emotions, and objects that tie you to the physical realm. Now begin to visualize one at a time and cut the chord between yourself and what you are focused on. As you release each of these one by one, practice unconditional love regardless to how you think or feel about this person, place, feeling, object, etc. Feel your body getting lighter and lighter and shining brighter and brighter. As you feel this, notice your body rising higher and higher until it becomes enveloped by your higher consciousness. Picture your physical form deteriorating as your true form of a light body filled with love takes its place. Soak up this moment and show gratitude to your guides, the source, and most importantly, yourself.
Crystal Healing – Stones of choice for this exercise are Rainbow Obsidian and Apophyllite. (If you do not have a Rainbow Obsidian, then I suggest your favorite grounding stone. If you do not have an Apophyllite, then I suggest a Clear Quartz). Hold your Rainbow Obsidian in your left hand over your heart, and place your Apophyllite on your third eye. Notice all attachments, memories, and feelings from this physical body and life soak up into your Rainbow Obsidian like a sponge. Allow the movie of your life to reel into the stone from your heart and hand that rules your subconscious. Once finished focus on the Apophyllite over your third eye. Notice the world around you melt away as the space around you is almost white washed as a cleansing, pure light surrounds you. Feel your body shoot straight up to the universe, greeted by your higher self. Allow the peaceful bliss sink in as you express gratitude to your guides, the universe, and yourself.
Cleanse in Water – A river or ocean are ideal for this exercise. A lake, pool, shower, or bath are a close second! Do not fret for results will be the same – I personally enjoy running water in nature. Submerge yourself into your body of water of choice or convenience. Focus on the sound of the water (if in still water put your ears underneath the surface) to drown out your thoughts, voices of spirit, and life. Picture the water extracting all ties to the physical realm. Feel it move through each of your seven main chakras allowing them to spin and shine brightly. Let the rejuvenating water wash everything away until your body becomes a space that only stores light and love. Feel your body rise into your light body as you become reconnected with your soul. Express gratitude for your life, this moment, and yourself.
I hope these techniques help any of you still trying to release attachments to achieve a soul connection with yourself!
She gazed out as the trees wrestled with glee. Their voices were the most prevelant of the wind chatter. The breeze cooled down her face.
“It’s time to go.” She said to herself as she looked back inside.
The warmth of the day felt so good as she enveloped herself in the sun’s rays. Parched, she reached for the glass as beads of water rolled down the side. The single cube clinked as she began chugging down the sweet nectar of life.
It was uncanny how quiet the world seemed despite the restless waves of air pouring over her. She couldn’t hear the routine songs for the day, nor the mindless chatter of endless languages that passed her stoop.
“Mr. Magpie must be taking a break from his tiresome post.” Her inner dialogue continued. “Perhaps he has a family to tend to.”
Then, she felt his presence. The spirit of a hardworking, focused, and magical ethereal being. Beating his wings lightning fast procuring a reverberating hum that jolted through her chest.
So sweet and soft the tired, little bee buzzed along looking for respite from his exhausting day. She willed him to use her humble space as a haven while he regenerated his life force for the trip home.
“Thank you for your giving nature.” He whispered with a grateful sigh.
Water pooled in the shallow dish of the lavender sitting between them as he lapped up the cool oceans of refreshing life. With one final glance he returned to the skies.

I was originally planning on writing about Honey Bees as a Totem or spirit animal, however, the article below does such an immaculate job; I wouldn’t do it the same justice. Enjoy this glorious website!
The New Moon on May 25, 2017 at 1:45pm PST will be in the air sign of Gemini. Gemini is represented by a set of twins. The twins are often able to see different perspectives to every situation and have many varying interests. Because of this, Gemini is an indecisive sign and often stretches themselves very thin. You are more likely to find Gemini doing research until they know every detail about all of their options so they can make the most informed decision possible. This fits their air nature of intelligence and wit. Air signs are also independent, social, and charming. Gemini are also mutable signs, which prepare for seasonal transitions. Mutable signs are highly adaptable, problem solvers, who are detail oriented and resourceful. We are about to enter Summer, and Gemini is helping us transition from brand new, blossoming ideas to finding a steady footing and making concrete plans to reach our goals. Gemini is also ruled by the planet Mercury, which controls our communication and thought processes.
During this New Moon, our higher selves are trying to aid us in our forms of communication by teaching us to be soft and gentle with others. Even if we have good intentions, our body language and tone of voice do not always reflect the message we are trying to convey. This is often a roadblock Gemini face as they can be received as abrupt, blunt, and sometimes cold. We are being asked to be more open and accepting of others and embrace their differences, which is not difficult for most Gemini. However, we want them to FEEL welcome and accepted so it is important that we are aware of all forms of communication – not just what we say, but how we say it, what our body language is saying, and listening with sincerity.
Communication and self-expression are controlled internally by our throat chakra, Vishuddha. It is important that this chakra remains balanced during this time so we can speak our truth without feeling shame or guilt by expressing ourselves. There are many techniques to balance this chakra, ensuring that it is performing at its optimum level. Vishuddha is associated with the color blue, the element of sound, the Bij Mantra Ham, the key note G, the Dhyana Mudra, and yoga poses such as Halasana (plow pose) and Matsyasana (fish pose).
I personally meditate on the color blue as I repeat the mantra “Ham” while listening to singing bowls in the note of G with my hands in the Dhyana Mudra. I will follow my meditation with some Qigong exercises and yoga poses. I often have Sage, Rosemary, or Cedar wood burning throughout this process, and grid myself in blue crystals such as Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate, Blue Kyanite, and Blue Calcite. Once completed, throughout the day I find myself not only thinking before I speak using a gentle kindness, but I also notice that I LISTEN with a fine tuned, objective ear.
We often forget that listening is half of the communication process. Our higher selves are asking us to listen fully to what the others are saying non judgmentally with an open heart to ensure the most sincere and insightful responses. This is extremely important for the New Moon since everyone is going to want to be speaking their peace. Instead of thinking about what you are going to say next, fully process what you are hearing. Wouldn’t you want the same courtesy? Effective communication is extremely important in building all types of relationships whether family, friends, romantic partners, business associates, acquaintances, or even strangers in passing.
Note: The Dhyana Mudra is when we cross our fingers on the inside of our hands with palms face up and thumbs gently touching.
The planetary aspects on the night of the New Moon are going to have a major impact on our relationships with others. The planet we will be focusing on is Venus. Venus will be in the fiery sign of Aries allowing us to be more outgoing, charming, witty, and flirtatious. When Gemini is in a social mood theses characteristics tend to present themselves, and with this placement they will all be enhanced. You will find yourself taking initiative in social circles, business endeavors, and even in romantic encounters whether these qualities resonate with your personality or not. Be prepared to surprise yourself. Venus is sextile Mars bringing a lot of passion into each encounter. People will see the fire and intensity behind our words and body language.
There is going to be a huge back and forth between our ego and spirit as Venus trines Saturn and opposes Jupiter. We are going to have a tendency to want to show off in a pretentious and almost superficial manner to our cohorts, peers, and romantic prospects, while also remaining humble and sincere in partnerships. More confusion will be brought to the table as Venus is in conjunct with Uranus causing us to yearn for romantic experiences, yet refuse the overly sensual commitment to just one person. This aspect will, however, allow us to be more accepting of all people. Finally, Venus will square Pluto bringing forth many intense feelings of passionate love.
The passion mentioned with Pluto is different from that of Mars. Mars is enhancing our inner passion for the aspects of life that inspire us and call to our soul. Pluto’s passion is sexual, sensual, and intense on a physical, ego based level. Once we transcend the ego we are able to move beyond passion into the realm of unconditional love that is more intense than any passion ever experienced because it is on a soul level.
Our higher selves want us to enjoy the pleasures of the physical realm because it is a part of the human experience, however, we are being warned not to allow our souls to be consumed by this physical nature. It is requested that we remain humble, and experience all of these passions with unconditional love. This does not mean we need to attach ourselves to one person if we are single. A part of unconditional love is the ability to let go and understand that nothing and no one truly belongs to us in the physical world. So, we must live these passions and let go with a gentle, respectful love.
I encourage anyone performing any ceremonies this Thursday to have Blue Lace Agate present. Blue Lace Agate is a stone of truth. It not only allows us to speak our truth, but also encourages the act of listening with sincerity. Blue Lace Agate resonates with the throat chakra, and helps remove any blockages. There are many stones and crystals that promote communication, however, I believe Blue Lace Agate is most effective for this New Moon because it promotes soft and gentle forms of speech. This stone is very calming and gives the wearer a sense of peace and serenity.
I enjoy the presence of candles and incense during my ceremonies to enhance my intention. I encourage blue (preferably light blue), white, and lavender colored candles to facilitate the connection between your higher self and communication center. If the candles are reiki infused, I suggest the throat, third eye, and crown chakra candles, or spirit, harmony, peace, positive energy, and love votives. My incense recommendations would be Rosemary and Cedar wood (similar to my meditation) as they resonate with the throat chakra.
Since the New Moon is all about manifestation, I would suggest utilizing this ceremony to manifest what you want within yourself. How do you want to effectively communicate? What do you want to work on in social interactions? Are you having a hard time finding the right words to say? Do you think you are an effective listener? How do you want others to receive your words? Do you care how others perceive you? What do you want out of your various relationships? How will you make those goals a reality?
Take your time to really think everything through (as a Gemini would), and write it all down. Keep this list somewhere you will see it every day to remind yourself of the changes you want to make in yourself and your relationships. As you notice these manifestations occurring in reality, allow yourself to bask in your accomplishments. If you notice you fall short some days, forgive yourself because it is okay and we are all human. Learn from your mistake, and try to do better next time by remaining mindful. I hope you all received this New Moon report well. Happy manifesting Waking Beauties!

“I am not a slave to time. Time is here to serve me and my higher purpose.” – Eternal Waking Beauties ⏰⏳⠀
• • • • • • • • • • • •⠀
Hello Waking Beauties! This is a positive affirmation that I came up with to help reduce stress and enhance the quality of my life. I wanted to share it with everyone because it has helped me so greatly in slowing down, taking the time I need for myself to get everything done, and to allow myself to take back my power. We live in a society of go go go making it easy to miss all of the beautiful splendors the world has to offer. When we are in a rush or trying to get too much done at once it causes stress and anxiety which takes a toll on our physical form and spiritual bodies. When you find yourself in one of these situations (late for work, have a lot to do and feel you have little time, cramming last minute for a test, etc.) pause. Take a deep breath and focus on how the flow of air feels going through your nose, filling your lungs, and exiting your body. Then say this affirmation. Then say it again. Then repeat it until you feel a warm wave of gentle calmness washing over you. Once you have done that, smile. Either get started on ONE task at a time beginning with your TOP PRIORITY and work your way down, or realize that the traffic you’re stuck in is not that serious and everyone else is dealing with the same situation. It will help transform your moment which will ultimately transform your day, then your week, and soon your life! Please test this out and let me know if it worked for you or didn’t work for you and how it helped your personal situation! You all have this power and not one of us is a slave to time! It is here to serve us in our divine purpose to fulfill our soul’s destiny in this life. It is time we realize it and utilize it to our advantage! ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Malas are Buddhist prayer beads. The most common Malas have 108 beads made of an array materials such as wood, Rudraksha seeds, shells, pearls, bone, saffron, gold, silver, copper, amber, and semi-precious stones. Depending on if you are trying to recite mantras, count your breaths, overcome obstacles, purify and cleanse, or increase abundance and prosperity different materials and number sequences are suggested.
It is often said that the mantra used for our intent does not have to be traditional. If we did not grow up speaking Sanskrit, then do not worry about memorizing 108 Tibetan mantras in that tongue. One of my gurus of sorts told me if I want peace and calm, then recite “peace and calm” with each passing bead. The purpose is to ingrain your intent into your subtle bodies by using repetition.
Stones and Properties
Each stone, crystal, and “rock” has various metaphysical properties. Many overlap, but no two are the same. In the creation of the Inner Goddess Mala, I selectively chose these three stones based on the energies needed for every Goddess.
Tibetan Turquoise is the most efficient healer, and enhances communication. It is a purification stone that balances and aligns chakras. This allows us to speak our truth with a gentle honesty as our subtle bodies are purified and balanced.
Hematite harmonizes mind, body, and spirit. It dissolves negative energy, and restores peace to the body. Hematite also boosts self-esteem and survivability. It is said to be grounding as well, however, some find hematite to be such an energy booster that they do not feel grounded.
Onyx offers support during difficult times, and heals grief and sorrow. It gives strength, vigor, and stamina, and alleviates overwhelming fears and worries. Extremely grounding and protective, onyx absorbs energies from the universe to heal its owner.
Numerology is the study of numbers and the vibrations each produce. These numbers were chosen based on the energy they harness for the Inner Goddess Mala.
4 is the number of the Archangels revealing their presence. It is also ruled by Uranus, which is the rebel. Uranus symbolizes breaking down the infrastructure at hand to create a new, more efficient way of life. The number 4 brings qualities of stability, security, logic, patience, and loyalty. This is the phase in life where we shift from awareness of groups of people to our own foundation. We must tend to our roots before we can grow.
6 is the nurturer of the numbers, and is ruled by Venus. This enhances the compassionate, empathetic, and selfless nature of the 6. During this phase of life we are often becoming more domestic, and entering a life of parenthood as we become teachers for our young ones.
8 is the number of prosperity and abundance. It is ruled by Saturn and Karma. Saturn is the planet of rules and limitations as we begin to set boundaries for what we do and do not want in our space. Karma is often accrued during this time with the misuse of the abundance we receive. The number 8 represents strength, confidence, and success. This is often a time in our lives when we are able to make great strides in our professional life and receive accolades in the form of material gain.
11 is the master manifestor. It is the first of three master numbers, and pertains to individual enlightenment. We become connected to our higher selves and begin to know and live our life purpose. 11 amplifies the divine male energies of the Sun, and when reduced equals 2, which is ruled by the Moon and divine female energies. This brings a balance and harmony to the two dichotomies represented. We are able to combine our intuition and subconscious to our conscious mind of assertion and creation.
12 is the number of completion, and is represented as such due to the number of months in a year, hours in a day, and astrological signs in both the western and eastern zodiac. It is a spiritually developed number since it is already balancing the Yin and Yang of the divine feminine and masculine. When reduced, 12 adds up to equal expansion and growth.
Qi is the life force or prana. It is the energy within and around us that flows to ensure balance and harmony between the Earth (Yin) and universe (Yang). If you haven’t figured it out yet, Yin represents the divine feminine of intuition, softness, time, and understanding, while Yang represents the divine masculine of creation, happiness, space, and tenacity. Qi can be drawn from people, plants, animals, elements, crystals, objects, and more. Even though objects aren’t “alive” they do still have an energy.
This particular Mala was infused with heart chakra Qi and grounding, Mother Earth Qi. The heart chakra, Anahata, represents compassion, unconditional love, empathy, and self-acceptance. It is represented by the colors green and pink, the element of air, and the mantra Yam. Mother Earth aids in stabilizing our natural frequency bringing our pure form to light.
If you are interested in purchasing a Mala, please contact me via my contact page. Prices vary depending on stones used. Requests can be made, or I can custom them based on what my intuition and guides think you need.
Oracle cards are a divination tool used to contact various spirit guides depending on the deck purchased. They range from angels to pixies, mermaids, unicorn, deities, past lives, butterflies, and so much more. This particular deck is by Alana Fairchild, who goes over the card meaning, a healing technique related to the card, and a prayer. Her decks also include Isis, Rumi, Sacred Rebel, Lightworkers, along with many others. They are beautiful tools for insight to various situations, guidance on how to handle what is going on in our lives, and healing to strengthen and empower ourselves.
Kuan Yin is a Buddha, Ascended Master, and Goddess. She embodies the divine feminine through compassion, faith, and timing. Refer to “Quan Yin – Ascended Master, Buddha, Goddess” for a more in depth look at Kuan Yin.

This card aligns us with our life purpose by clearly showing us our path. We are being asked to rise into our true potential of unique greatness. Before we rise, we must make a series of transitions to become the person we are meant to be. In order to change, there must be a motive, a tangible solution, and the willpower to see it through to completion. There are many changes people want to see within the world and their lives, however, they are often unwilling to look within and grow and develop themselves. Individual transformations are necessary in order to make major shifts in our lives, in society, and in the world. Here are 5 steps to make that soul connection with your higher self in order to raise the vibrations of the collective consciousness.
Let go. This includes people, places, objects, thoughts, moments, and behaviors that are toxic. If it does not stimulate your growth, keep it out of your space. Do this with love and acceptance. For thoughts and behaviors, look at patterns you exhibit. Forgive yourself, and then find tools to make better choices for a more positive outcome.
Self-love, self-care, self-acceptance. No one else is with you 24/7 to do all of this for you. It is important to come up with a routine to practice these three underestimated necessities of life. Baths, crystal healing, meditation, Qigong, yoga, Tai Chi, sound therapy, self-massage, and so much more are wonderful ways to show yourself gratitude.
Eat and Hydrate. Do not skip meals! Hangriness does not lead to happiness. Graze throughout the day if you’re a snacker – just make sure your intake is healthy and organic. Always have a full cup of water. Our body predominantly made up of water. It is a necessity of life, and one of the two ways we get oxygen to our bodies. It is also cleansing and purifying.
Sleep. Catch as many zzz’s as you want. If you want to sleep in this Sunday (and can), then go for it! Feel like you need a nap in the afternoon (and have time/space)? Take advantage of it! Your body probably needs to rejuvenate via peaceful slumber.
Let your light shine! Get creative and have fun expressing yourself! This can be anything from dancing in your pjs to singing in the shower, working on your garden, prepping your favorite meal, crocheting your next masterpiece, going to a paint night, or even cleaning! Whatever it is that you enjoy – do it with every inch of your being and bask in the present moment.
Work on these 5 basic tools to make the necessary adjustments within yourself, and you will start feeling these changes and seeing changes in your life. I know these are everywhere, and you’re all probably thinking, “Duh! I know this!” But, are you DOING any of this? Regularly? Mindfully? Give it a try, and really be in the moment. Also, keep your eyes peeled on some techniques I will be sharing about how to be mindful, and change reactions into thoughtful actions.
